WATCH: Alabama Football Team Breaks Into Spontaneous Prayer for Trump at White House

The champion University of Alabama football team visited the White House on Tuesday where the team had a special spiritual moment with President Donald Trump.

Alabama punter JK Scott asked Trump if he could pray for him and his staff, to which the president answered in the affirmative. Several other players joined in for the prayer.

In a tweet, WBRC reporter Christina Chambers wrote, “What a cool moment! .@AlabamaFTBL JK Scott asked @POTUS if he could pray for him and his staff. Video below shows President Trump and Bama players praying after the Tide’s @WhiteHouse visit!”

President Trump was clearly thrilled with the visit by the champion team too.

“Today, it was my great honor to welcome the 2017 NCAA Football National Champion, Alabama Crimson Tide – to the White House,” Trump tweeted on Tuesday. “Congratulations!”

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders, who is from Arkansas and therefore not an Alabama football fan, said she was a “big fan” of the team’s prayer for President Trump.

Amen!
