Carrie Underwood Finally Reveals Half of Her Face After Scary 40-Stitch Accident — Wow

Carrie Underwood still has not revealed her full face to fans since she received more than 40 stitches to her face following a scary accident in November.

However, on Wednesday, the famous singer posted a caption-less photo showing half of her face uncovered for the first time.

And she looks amazing.

The photo shows Underwood concentrating while working in a music studio, likely working on new music.

Underwood left fans very concerned when she first announced her injuries in January:

“In addition to breaking my wrist, I somehow managed to injure my face as well. I’ll spare you the gruesome details, but when I came out of surgery the night of my fall, the doctor told [Underwood’s husband] Mike that he had put between 40 and 50 stitches in.”

After he accident, Underwood warned fans that she didn’t know if she would ever look the same again after the horrific accident in which she fell outside her Nashville home.

“Now, here we are 7 weeks later and, even though I’ve had the best people helping me, I’m still healing and not quite looking the same,” Underwood wrote to her fans. “I honestly don’t know how things are going to end up …”

While much of the focus is on Underwood’s physical appearance, let’s not forget just how beautiful the 35-year-old singer is on the inside.

“At the end of the day everything that I’m doing now is going to fade, but I’m going to be a mom until the day I die, so that’s more important. In however many years, I don’t know how many it’ll take, but people will be like, ‘Oh, yeah, I remember that name’. That’s just the way any job is,” she said in a past interview. “But I’ll be a mom and a wife forever, so that definitely takes precedence over everything else.”

She also revealed her faith in God is the “backbone of all” that she does.
