Conservative personalities Diamond & Silk got into an explosive exchange with Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) after the Democrat asked them if they had ever been paid by the Trump campaign.
“We have never been paid by the Trump campign,” Lynnette “Diamond” Hardaway said firmly and repeatedly
Even when Lee asked specifically if they had been paid $1,274.94 by the Trump campaign, the duo denied receiving any funds from the president’s campaign.
It later emerged that FEC filings showed the Trump campaign did pay them 1,274.94 for “field consulting.” However, Diamond & Silk claimed the reports are not entirely accurate. ABC News reported:
When Democrat Rep. Hakeem Jeffries followed up by informing them of the FEC filing, they said it was inaccurate – arguing the Trump campaign reimbursed them for a flight from New York to Ohio for a campaign event and that they had never provided field consulting services.
“We’re familiar with that particular lie. We see that you do look at fake news,” the duo said.

A very contentious exchange with Lee followed concerning when and how Facebook ultimately contacted the conservative personalities after their page was shockingly labeled as “unsafe” for the Facebook community.
“Mrs. Jackson, don’t mince my words,” Hardaway said. “Let me explain to you this here. April the 5th, 2018, they took and deemed us unsafe to the community and told us it wasn’t appealable. April the 12th [is when they contacted us].”
Who do you think won these battles?
