Everyone Saw A Run Down Facility, He Saw Something Magnificent, I Can’t Believe What He Did Next

Everyone has an idea of what their dream home would be, but could you imagine living in an abandoned factory?

That was the dream of Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill, who, 45 years ago, saw an abandoned cement factory with incredible potential.

After buying the facility, Bofill and his team went to work making some drastic changes, and the results are nothing short of spectacular. What was once an industrial eyesore is now one of the most beautiful homes I’ve ever seen.

After all these years of work, Bofill says that he’s almost finished. Imagine what it will look like when he’s done!

What was once an area covered in dust and pollution, is now a breathtaking work of art.

The tops of the smokestacks have been turned into gardens, transforming the entire area into a lush tropical paradise.

It really is hard to imagine that at one point in time this was a typical cement factory.

This architect has quite the eye for potential.

What do you think, could you imagine yourself living in a place like this?

The interior is just as exquisite as the exterior.

The living space on the inside is gorgeous, but it’s also gigantic. I don’t know how one has the stuff to fill a place like this!

This conference room is really, really cool. Although I bet it’s easy to get distracted with all the cool designs throughout the building.

Holy cow this is a gigantic living room.

This is a nice little study.

This is just one of the many bedrooms within the “house”.

Although it isn’t quite finished, Bofill is quite pleased with how his home has turned out so far.

This has got to be one of the most unique homes in the world. What do you think, would you want to live in a house like this?
