“Let Iran have nuclear power!” They said.
“They don’t really want to destroy Israel. They’re just misunderstood.” Well hopefully this will clear everything up from here on out.
Iran just test launched two ballistic missiles emblazoned with the phrase, “Israel must be wiped out,” in Hebrew. The timing of this from the terror state comes when Vice President Biden is visiting Jerusalem.
As of yet, Israel has offered no response, but Biden did have some choice words to share:
“A nuclear-armed Iran is an absolutely unacceptable threat to Israel, to the region and the United States. And I want to reiterate which I know people still doubt here. If in fact they break the deal, we will act.”
It seems rather naive to think that a terror state with permission to develop nuclear energy would stay clear of actually developing nuclear weapons.
In fact, Obama’s deal with Iran made this entire event possible. The deal reads that the United States would have to come to the aid of Iran if it’s attacked. If Iran attacks Israel, and Israel retaliates, which they rightfully would, America would be bound by this agreement to attack its closest ally in the world.
This is NOT a good thing.
The actual clause reads that “E3/EU+3 parties, and possibly other states, as appropriate, are prepared to cooperate with Iran on the implementation of nuclear security guidelines and best practices.”
These best practices include:
“Co-operation through training and workshops to strengthen Iran’s ability to protect against, and respond to nuclear security threats, including sabotage, as well as to enable effective and sustainable nuclear security and physical protection systems.”
There will be a U.N. Security Council meeting to determine if this weapons test violates the deal Iran has, although preliminary indicators says that it does not.
The missile launch was aired on Iranian State Television and hit targets 870 miles away. The U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet was in the area to witness it, but has declined to comment.
