Jeb Bush is losing traction quickly in the presidential run for Republican nomination. T. Boone Pickens, one of his largest donors, has slowly decided to back not only Carly Fiorina but also Ben Carson.
T. Boone Pickens highly publicized $100,000 contribution to Jeb Bush came way early in the race. Now that the candidates are gaining traction and popularity, Jeb Bush is having a hard time keeping up.
Pickens is set on supporting Ben Carson which will continue to establish his credibility as an outsider candidate.
Pickens spokesmen told NBC news,
“He still believes in him. He think’s ultimately Jeb’s got a great great chance to win it.”
Overall, this is great news for the Republican party as everyone seems to be receiving consistent funding not only affecting the candidates credibility, but also in fueling further campaigning in getting ready for the intense campaigns that will happen in 2016 before the actual election takes place.
Pickens did make an interesting comment just minutes after the previous GOP debate saying,
“It’s kind of like Jeb is running in molasses. I want to pick up the pace.”
Seems like good news for the Republican party but bad news for Jeb Bush.
Would you support a 3rd Bush in the White House?
