After Proclaiming ‘Love’ for Trump, Famous Rapper Taunts Critics With Bold Fashion Choice

Rapper Kanye West essentially broke the internet on Wednesday when he professed his “love” for President Donald Trump. In the face of rude and racially charged attacks against him, West never backed down in his personal beliefs.

“You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him,” West tweeted. “We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.”

He added, “If your friend jumps off the bridge you don’t have to do the same. Ye being Ye is a fight for you to be you. For people in my life the idea of Trump is pretty much a 50 50 split but I don’t tell a Hillary supporter not to support Hillary I love Hillary too.”

On Thursday, West stepped out in public proudly wearing his pro-Trump “Make America Great Again” hat, a move that will surely only further rile up his critics.

He even dropped a freestyle in his MAGA hat for TMZ:

Trump was quick to embrace West’s support, telling “Fox & Friends” that the rapper is seeing what his administration is doing for the black community.

“Kanye looks and he sees black unemployment at the lowest it’s been in the history of our country, OK? He sees Hispanic unemployment at the lowest it’s been in the history of our country,” Trump said. “He sees, by the way female unemployment, women unemployment, the lowest it’s been in now almost 19 years. He sees that stuff and he’s smart.”

The president famously met with West at Trump Tower after he won the election in 2016:

No matter how you feel about Kanye West, you have to respect his refusal to back down to the outrage mob. He supports President Trump and he’s not afraid to show it.
