‘Miracle’ Boy Comes Back to Life Day Before Doctors Pull Plug, Says He Came From Heaven

A 13-year-old boy in Mobile, Alabama, is being called a “miracle” child after her suddenly came back to life one day before doctors pulled the plug and his parents agreed to donate his organs.

Trenton McKinley was playing at a friends house two months ago when a tragic accident occurred. Here’s what happened, according to WALA-TV:

Trenton McKinley of Mobile was playing at a friend’s house two months ago. He was riding in a small utility trailer being pulled by a dune buggy for kids. Trenton says his friend pressed on the breaks suddenly, causing the trailer to flip. He says he quickly threw his friend’s 4-year-old niece off into the grass, but in the process, got caught in the trailer as it flipped.

“I hit the concrete and the trailer landed on top of my head. After that, I don’t remember anything,” said Trenton.

The accident was so bad that doctors found seven fractures on Trenton’s skull.

The boy’s mother, Jennifer Reindl, said she watched her son die for a total of 15 minutes. When he woke up, doctors told the mother her son would never be the same again.

“They told me the oxidation problems would be so bad to his brain, that he would be a vegetable if he even made it,” she said.

Trenton remained brain dead for days and was barely breathing. Because doctors had also told them their son would be a vegetable in the best-case scenario, the parents made the difficult decision to donate his organs to children who needed them.

One day before doctors were set to pull the plug, Trenton started showing signs of recovery. He showed signs of cognition.

Eventually, Trenton stunned the doctors and woke up.

The 13-year-old boy later revealed he believes he was in heaven.

“I was in an open field walking straight. There’s no other explanation but God,” Trenton said. “There’s no other way. Even doctors said it.”

What an incredible story from a young child.

Trenton now has a long road to recovery. He has already undergone several brain surgeries and is dealing with nerve pain and daily seizures. However, he has the attitude of a warrior.

Trenton’s mother has started a fundraiser to raise money for her son’s extensive medical expenses. So far, 198 people have donated $10,636 to help Trenton in his recovery. You can donate here!
