Actress Rachel Weisz recently revealed that she is expecting her first child with her husband of seven years, actor Daniel Craig — aka James Bond.
Weisz was visibly overjoyed about the pregnancy and told the New York Times how excited she is about the “little human” growing inside of her. You might notice her word choice: “little human.”
“I’ll be showing soon,” the actress said through a smile. “Daniel and I are so happy. We’re going to have a little human. We can’t wait to meet him or her. It’s all such a mystery.”
It’s the couple’s first child together — but both Hollywood stars are already parents. Weisz has an 11-year-old son, Henry, with director Darren Aronofsky and Craig, now 50, has a 25-year-old daughter named Ella with actress Fiona Loudon.
While Hollywood marriages can be rocky, to say the least, Weisz and Craig seem to be going strong. She told the New York Times:
“I’m very happy being married, very, very happy,” she says. She muses that some other movie star pairs seem to know how to make their “coupledom” part of their brand.
“I really take my hat off to them,” she says. “But Daniel and I are really similar. We just literally don’t know how to do that. We’re just really crap at talking about our private lives.”
I doubt either of them is interested in pushing their brand, since they have never had accounts on Instagram or Facebook or Twitter. They both prefer talking about books and poetry and music to social media.
No social media? They just might be on to something.
Congratulations to the beautiful couple and let the baby be happy and healthy!
