Things are going pretty good for Roseanne Barr. Her hit show, “Roseanne,” scored massive ratings and its already been renewed for a second season. But she doesn’t seem to be willing to share the credit with anyone — including President Donald Trump.
When asked by TMZ what she thought of Trump “taking credit” for the show’s tremendous success, Barr had a hilarious answer.
“Ha ha ha,” she said jokingly. “It’s all me.”
When pressed further to go after Trump, Barr simply responded, “I love all my fans.” She also left the TMZ photographer with one more piece of advice before the elevator doors closed: “Go mind your mother.”
While President Trump didn’t exactly take credit for massive ratings, he did give the show a shoutout during a speech in Ohio on Thursday.
“Even look at Roseanne! I called her yesterday! Look at her ratings! Look at her ratings,” Trump said to applause.
The president also recalled a conversation he had with Hollywood producer Mark Burnett.
“He said, ‘Donald, I called just to say hello, and to tell you: did you see Roseanne’s ratings?’ I said, ‘Mark, how big were they?’ They were unbelievable! Over 18 million people! And it was about us! They haven’t figured it out! The fake news hasn’t quite figured it out yet,” Trump added.

“Roseanne” earned more than 25 million viewers and scored an “obscene” 7.3 rating in the key demo, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The number will likely climb even higher when viewers of the Sunday encore are factored in. In other words, the show so far is a huge success.
