Watch Sarah Sanders’ Face During Vicious WHCD Attacks on Her — She Was All of Us

Comedian Michelle Wolf launched a series of mean-spirited and personal attacks on White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders at the White House Correspondents Dinner on Friday. She even made fun of her physical appearance.

Here are just some of the Sanders jokes told last night:

“I am a little starstruck, I love you as Aunt Lydia in “The Handmaid’s Tale.”

“I’m not really sure what we’re going to get [with Sanders], you know, a press briefing, a bunch of lies, or divided into softball teams.”

“I’m never really sure what to call Sarah Huckabee Sanders… What’s Uncle Tom, but for white women who disappoint other white women.”

“I actually really like Sarah, I think she’s very resourceful. She burns facts, and then she uses that ash to create a perfect smokey eye. Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s lies.”

But as nasty as the personal insults were, Sanders’s classy handling of the situation is the real story. Instead of storming out, Sanders calmly sat and endured the attacks.

The look on her face barely changed, either.

However, she clearly wasn’t amused by the “Handmaid’s Tale” joke.

There were no laughs from Sanders. Even New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman was impressed by her handling of the situation.

Others were unable to make it through the entire White House Correspondents Dinner. American Conservative Union Chair Matt Schlapp said he and his wife, Mercedes, had to walk out.

“My wife @mercedesschlapp and I walked out early from the wh correspondents dinner. Enough of elites mocking all of us,” he tweeted.

Schlapp later echoed much of America’s views on elitist events like the WHCD.

“Hey @SarahHuckabee you have a lot of class to listen to that bs tonight. America was watching and it’s why they hate the swamp,” he added.

Amen.
