‘Smallville’ Actress Allison Mack Arrested in Connection With Alleged Sex Cult

Actress Allison Mack, known for her roles on “Smallville” and “Wilfred,” has reportedly been arrested for allegedly participating in a sex cult known as Nxivm.

Mack was last seen with the leader of the cult, Keith Raniere, while he was being arrested by police in Mexico, as seen in the video below.

The New York Post’s Page Six broke the report:

“Smallville” actress Allison Mack has been arrested for her alleged role in notorious upstate sex slave cult Nxivm, sources told The Post on Friday.

Mack was last seen chasing after the cult’s leader Keith Raniere as cops hauled him away from the villa in Mexico where they had been hiding out.

Raniere, who allegedly kept women as slaves and branded his initials into their skin, was arrested for sex trafficking and forced labor and brought back to the US.

NBC New York has more details on the shocking practices of the sex cult:

According to a complaint, Raniere – known within the group as “Vanguard” – oversaw a barbaric system in which women were told the best way to advance was to become a “slave” overseen by “masters.” They also were expected to have sex with him and do menial chores for masters, and to keep the arrangement a secret or be publicly humiliated, the complaint says.

Some of the rituals were videotaped, including where victims were supposedly branded in their pelvis with a symbol that included Raniere’s initials.

Mack was reportedly arrested by the FBI and is due in court on Friday. It’s unclear what charges she is facing.
