The Pin Donald Trump Jr. Wore to WH Easter Egg Roll Has Special Message for Hillary

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump kicked off the annual Easter Egg roll at the White House on Monday. This year, the president’s kids and grandkids took part in the festivities.

Donald Trump Jr. was in attendance, and it was his wardrobe choice that end up drawing plenty of attention.

As you can see in the photos above, Trump Jr. sported an American flag pin on his jacket. On the flag was the word “Deplorable,” a clear message to failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Clinton infamously referred to Trump supporters as “deplorables” during the 2016 presidential campaign. Even members of her own campaign staff later admitted that generalizing large groups of voters was a big mistake by the Democrat.

“You can put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables,” Clinton said to laughter. “The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, you name it. And unfortunately, there are people like that.”

During his speech at the event, President Trump thanked his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, for organizing the White House Easter Egg Roll and touted the strength of the U.S. military under his administration.

“It’s an honor to have everybody, on behalf of the Trump family… I just want to thank you,” he said. “Our country is doing great. You look at the economy, you look at what’s happening. Nothing’s ever easy, but we have never had an economy like we have right now.”
