When’s the last time you really looked up into the sky?
Do you ever notice how different the clouds look? Sure some are fluffy, some are wispy. Have you ever seen illuminated clouds?
There are some clouds that abound in luminescence. These are called nacreous clouds.
“Currently, we are able to catch sight of them because cold air which usually circulates around polar regions in the stratosphere (the stratospheric polar vortex) has been displaced from its usual position over the north pole to be over the UK,”
These are also called Mother of Pearl clouds.
