When Texas got hit with a series of tornadoes, heartless looters tried to capitalize on the horrendous aftermath. Little did they know: Texas upholds and utilizes the Second Amendment.
With every natural disaster comes incomprehensible wreckage. This was true for Dallas, TX, the weekend after Christmas.
On Saturday, a violent storm with wind speeds over 180 mph ripped through North Texas, forming tornadoes that killed 11 people.
By Sunday night, nine tornadoes had been confirmed [though the National Weather Service could revise that number].
As families picked up the pieces while grieving their loved ones and trying to make sense of the chaos, the unimaginable happened.
Looters looking to make easy money decided to terrorize and take advantage of the devastated city.
In response to the heartless looters, the city issued this epic message:
The Post Read: “Please drive slow and watch your surroundings as you go through Garland around Bass Pro to Bobtown Rd on 30. The feeder/access roads are closed to traffic. This area is considered a Disaster Area with extensive damage. NO LOOTING WILL BE TOLERATED. YOU WILL BE SHOT OR TAKEN TO JAIL.”
YES! How dare these looters try to take advantage of these grieving families. Please pray for all of those affected. Please hug your loved ones tightly.
What do you think of Texas’ response to the looters? Please share if you agree with their message to looters.
